Who is LinkedIn advertising suited to and when should you choose it?

LinkedIn advertising is strongest in B2B - when your clients are other companies and decisions are made by specific specialists or executives. The platform lets you target by job title, industry, company size and seniority, which no other channel does as precisely. If you sell consumer goods to a broad audience, other channels are usually more cost-effective, and we say so honestly.

Why is LinkedIn advertising more expensive than other channels?

LinkedIn CPM and cost per click really are higher than, say, Meta or TikTok, because you pay for access to decision-makers and professionals rather than a broad audience. In B2B a single quality lead can be worth far more than ten random clicks, so we look not at the cost per click but at lead quality and deal value. How big a budget do you need for a LinkedIn campaign?
